So it's been a long as hell time since I've been here, and especially since I've played Warhammer (I played some Ninth Age before Covid struck). I've been meaning to dive back in after my next sea trip, and I'm keen to expand my converting need through the power of da' WAAAAGH! Gonna be a Dethskull/Freebooterz vibe (Those Kharadron Overlords gonna be missing some ships), and just a use of vehicles to convert (I'll also share ideas of what they may be converted with). So I was contemplating a few other ideas on what I could do with the list, wonder how y'all feel about these points?

- Replace Wagon with a Trukk, shed some points.
- Shed some gear (Maybe off the MANz)
- Use points to get a 3 man Deffkopter squad

Any other opinions?

I assume the meganobz, warboss, and big mek go in the battlewagon. Maybe shed some of the wagon upgrades to pay for the deffkoptas. Deffkoptas with rokkits would be very powerful. You need anti-armor, though perhaps not too much at 1000 pts.

Well idea was the have the Boss with the Nobz in a Wagon, and the Mek accompanying one of the other Trukk boyz to give them some bonus and not to have all my eggs in one basket. I think I could do the double trukks instead of Trukk+Wagon, and shed some of the upgrades around to get those deffkoptas (And maybe a second stormboy unit who knows, I love symmetry!), since some additional AT would be nice, and also I REALLY want to convert them up now (Idea is a Pirahna, Land Speeder and the Venom/Vyper for the Koptas!).

Also fun fact the Trukks will be a DE Raider (Can't decide whether floating or wheels), and a Goliath/Taurox, the Stormboyz will be the flying Admech guy wings, maybe their legs (Or inspire their metal legs) with the Stormboyz and some terrain, Kommandos will be Ork/Nobz with Tau bits and Tau drone tops as ol' ninja straw hats, Mek and Boss get the ol' Ambot treatment and the Boyz gonna be treated with the Bloodbowl bodies!

Here’s the potential other attempt, only issue is that someone is gonna be a foot-slogger (Could drop the Stormboyz and another 5 points), also had to remove the Nobz power klaws (Though could remove 2 Killsaws from the Nobz and spread out some Big Choppas to them).

Hi again! I made another change deciding that maybe the Big Mek ain’t gonna be needed as much, so I chipped them off, slapped in a Trukk so that all my Lads are speeding along, added a couple Big Choppaz and buffed up the numbers of my Stormboyz!

Well your list has kind of morphed into a trukk rush. That was popular in 8th edition, don't know how it will do in 9th. You need a unit to hold any backfield objective, so I don't know about that 3rd trukk. I personally like having 2 characters in my list so I can tool them up for melee. I agree the KFF is not needed. Depends on your opponents. I see a lot of lists that negate AP 1 and AP2, so I try to get some AP3 in my army.

Aye I did hear that used to be a popular option back then, and I was keen on some conversions! I could just slap the boss in with normal boyz, ditch the trukk and the Meganobz and somehow look into something to act as more of a backfield option (And maybe a cheap and useful extra character?).

Here’s a quick list change where I added back in the Mega-Armoured Mek (Where the Relic Shoota does not seem to be an option to add but they should have it), removed a Trukk and the MANz, and added in a couple Mek Guns to offer some long range options!

Actually I like the mega armor nobz better. They can use the deathskulls kultur and be objective secured, as well as the 5+ FNP. The mek guns can't use that since they are gretchin.

So I should go back to the one before that - Ditch the mek guns and the Big Mek, get back the Trukk and the MANz? I'd like to have some transporation for my lads, and considering I'll be having Kommandos, Trukks, Deffkoptas and Stormboyz I should make a decent surround!

To play the objectives, you need some unit to protect your deployment zone (back line), just like you can use Kommandoes and Stormboyz to threaten your opponent's back line. What unit is doing that, and do you need a trukk for them?
Drop a trukk and add 3 warbikes? Lots of conversion possibilities there, and warbikes are very good.
