Hope someone can help clear something up and help me track down a mini I’m looking for. After getting back into painting recently one of my projects is painting an Epic 40k Eldar army that I bought about 30 years ago and never finished. I’ve been expanding the army with some pieces that I didn’t have - through EBay - but one thing I can’t seem to get hold of is a decent Revenant titan. I’ve found two different kinds of Revenants through my online searches. One looks sleek, elegant, in line with the aesthetic of the epic Phantom and basically a scaled down version of the Forgeworld 28mm Revenant. The other to be frank looks like I don’t know what and has a very different aesthetic and looks to me like it’s got nothing to do with the Eldar at all. I’ve included pictures of both and I’m sure it’ll be obvious which is which. The trouble is that the kind I don’t like are two a penny on EBay (well they’re a bit more expensive than that but there are a lot of them). The other kind I just can’t seem to track down and nobody who has one on their website gives any information that would help me search for it. Those websites are, also, now rather old and no longer active as far as I can tell. So I’m hoping somebody can clear up for me why there are two so very different kinds of epic revenant titan and give me some background info on the kind I’m lookin for that might help me find it. If anyone knows where I could actually get my hands on one that would be EVEN better. Thanks!!

The first pic is the Epic: Armageddon Revenant Titan from Forgeworld, whereas the second is the one from the older Space Marine game. Back then they looked quite different, as you can see, same as all the eldar vehicles.

The ones from Forgeworld (resin) were quite a bit more expensive at the time and they weren't on sale quite so long as the other, so they're logically much less abundant.

Also, there is a third model, the one released during the Epic:40k era, in which the eldar titan aesthetic got... weird:

Thanks! The one you posted is actually the one I keep finding on EBay. I thought it was the same as the first one I posted but now I see it isn’t. It really is weird. It’s clunky and has no personality. It really wouldn’t fit the other models. Shame to hear that the one I want is a Forgeworld resin model. I can see that’s ging to make it very hard to get. I’d really like to get my hands on one though. Especially unpainted.

A similar one is findable in stl form for printing, actually. You might have an easier time with that one. Also, Vanguard Games also makes these, which are more wraithknight sized, but are actually similarly sized to the FW one:

(which, incidentally, seeing as those are 3d prints I'd love if they sold as stls to print at home >_&gt

Hopefully FW/SG will get around to doing xenos races instead of just abandoning them because they're fixated on the Horus Heresy.

Here's the one I was thinking about, from DuncanShadow:

That one does look GOOD. But is it really epic scale? And 3D printing also sounds an interesting possibility. I've never 3D printed anything and have never thought about it for miniatures but opens up a whole new world of possibilities I see...

By default that one is 40k scale, but to make it Epic/AT you need to scale it at 25%... which is what I just did yesterday, and let me tell you, it is nice:

Size wise it's a bit taller than a Warhound but with much less volume.

You also have these as a possible option?

https://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/shop/eloi-federation-fire-banshee-detachment/

Cost wise they look reasonable and I personally think the models are very nice BUT I fully appreciate they may not be quite Revenant enough for some!

I suspect more versions will come in time…

Those are knight-sided, though... and you'll notice they have the same configuration as wraith knights.

Very pretty, true (linked to them upthread)
