Cog in the Machine

I don't post much anywhere, but I need a place to better document my work on a project that's become something of a constant driving madness at my back. Nominally the project as a whole is some sort of mech combat game, and progress is for the most part at this point, modelling up various different mechs, 3d printing them, tweaking, and repeat. So, without much more ranting, I suppose I should show the goods.

To start with, the first mech, the original creation that lead me down and down this rabbit hole, the Outer Union Armed Forces Deeran Mk IV

These represent the tactical configuration, of a handheld autocannon and shoulder mounted missile pod. Sort of went for a Gundam Grunt Suit vibe with a little bit of various other mecha I've seen out there and drooled over or thought looked cool.

Of course, having modelled it, I printed a bunch out and put some paint down on some of them, albeit with only a single one of these finished so far.

Additionally, as every 'game' needs two factions, I figured I'd make a different mech with a different styling, using the different overall visual language to add further distinguishing features to the machines.
To work with this idea, the Mastalev Royal Army's Bogatyr

Of course, this is the 'Standard' configuration as well, nothing super specialist about this machine or what it does, equipped with a paired set of guns in one arm, and obviously its fist in the other. Visually a bit more Walking Tank/Battletech involved in this design, along with some non standard visual features, such as the primary sensor cluster being a part of the torso, and a smaller, compact 'head unit' as a swiveling piece to provide more direct line of site to items of interest.

And of course, a printed and painted example
