Managed to finish my 40k figures before flying back to spain, will be dropping them on my office desk this week, with some candy for my workmates

Really happy with how they turned out, had to do some tricks to get the bases and Leds to work the way I wanted them.
The plasma rifle can be detached, primary reason of why there is no OSL on the marine. By default I will have the mini with a bolter in the same position (piece I will be adquiring soon), but depending on the season or other events I can add other items, such as a pumpkin, a candy stick, or an animation book. Any ideas, send them my way!

The painting process was quite straight foward. Airbrush took care of most of the armour main color, which in the image is not exactly well represented: In person it does have a lot more tone variation, whereas in the images it looks more flat.
The second key step to make the armour look right was adding a lot of scratching, both big and small.
I generally paint my marine golds with NonMetalicMetal look, both to add detail and as a reference to 2nd edition ultramarines yellow colors, but for this big miniature I felt leaving the metalics was the right call, since I was going for a darker tone anyway.

Had a lot of fun working on these Painting took around 2 week, and the conversion of the figures took a bit longer, specially due to getting the right bases and Leds, which can be detached to change the batteries, have different colors and patterns, and a remote controller. The figures are not perfect and I could have done a lot more both on the conversion, polish and paint, but I really like the look of them for the time invested, and they are going to watch over me at work while I make the emeror's good work!
