First season didn’t take long to go bat gak crazy and become confusing/jumbled with a whole lot of different moving plot pieces, but I’m willing to give this a shot. Hopefully some questions get answered, rather then more questions getting piled on.

Yeah, I liked the first season but parts of it were pretty damn out there.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

I didn't even know they had filmed this yet, guess I better finish the first season.

Thanks. I wasn't aware this was getting a second season. I haven't watched the first yet admittedly but it's near the top of my list when i eventually sub to hbomax.

It is well shot and acted with some good ideas but in the end is just question after question after question with no real attempt at answering almost anything. It can be an interesting ride just don't expect to learn much about the issues raised.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

Thanks. I'm not worried about spoilers so I just watched a season finale recap to see how worthwhile it may be for me.

How involved is Ridley Scott with it now? I had heard prerelease that he directed the first couple episodes and then stepped back a bit to more of a supervisory role.

I think he's more the creative/writer than the director. Or maybe the big picture writer while using a team to do the actual scripts and hammer out the details.

It's not unlike Prometheus/Covenant in that he is trying to squeeze in some bigger ideas with his sci fi. It works better here for the most part because he isn't trying to tack it on to something else that didn't need it. But sometimes weird gak is going on in the show that doesn't seem to serve the over all story so much are Ridley's want for some artsy fartsy.
