A friend and I have been playing 5th edition for the last half year. It started with trying out 4th ed, then moving to 5th. Originally we’d intended to move on to 6ed but 5th simply turned out to be very enjoyable. We’ve for a long time prepared for an apocalypse game with about 5.500p per side of guardsmen vs tyranids. Now the time for the apocalypse game has finally come. Some of our friends surprised us by saying that they’d like to see the event. So we have decided to put up a stream on twitch. This is an invitation to that twitch stream. Neither of us has done this before. We’re just long time hobbyist putting up a big game. Figured I'd invite anyone on dakka dakka that'd be interested. If you read this and find it's something you'd enjoy watching then the information to catch the stream is at the bottom of this post. All in all we're looking at almost 300 guardsmen and over 200 tyranids. Both lists are pure. No allies, inquisitors or anything of the like. Just pure poor guards (hopefully) holding on against a tyranid onslaught.
