How do!

So GW have confirmed we’re in for a LVO preview show this Thursday/Friday, depending where you are in this big wide world.

Fairly low-key announcement so far, being tucked away at the bottom of this week’s Sunday pre-order preview article.

Wonder if we might see an attempt at a hype train in the coming days, with silhouettes and that.

Let's see if tomorrow they comment a little more about the games that we will see in the preview, how they are doing lately.

removing the chaos vs eldar box, and the eldar news, is there nothing pending to be released?

I look forward to seeing the quarterly news from blood bowl, and necromunda (ash wastes please)

I guess they'll finish showing all eldar things, and next from AoS.

I'm off work Thur/Fri so could pull an all-nighter or just get up early (and then go back to bed...)

Interesting, I was supposed to go to LVO but not now (but still taking time off from work). Last time (2020) the release was shown simultaneously as it was shown at event. Looks like there is a small delay this time.

Normally there's an article posted on Monday with details of which game systems will be covered and when to watch in each timezone.

AFAIK the only unreleased but announced products are Eldritch Omens, remaining 40k combat patrols, and the cursed city reprint.

Reckon we might see a preview of a Cursed City expansion.

I’m also wondering given just how busy the codex releases have been this month, if this might prove a more substantial preview.

But saying that, I guess it will depend when the next preview is likely to be. Whilst there’s no word about previews there, it is Warhammer World’s 25th Anniversary early March, so maybe we’ll see some stuff held back until then, give us attendees a wee tickle beyond buying Precious Things.

I imagine that we might get some extensive AoS reveals and small roadmap. AoS has been relatively quiet since 3.0 got released with only 3 battletomes out.

Not sure if Cursed City falls within the preview window. The novel is getting rereleased in May so that might indicate when Cursed City is back and that's more then 3 months away.

6AM to early for me.

We may well see multiple roadmaps, given I think all are now up to date, or outdated depending on how you look at it.

This is of course their first not online preview in a pretty decent while, so perhaps we’ll get loads.

There's also the Horus Heresy map that got announced and hasn't gone up for pre-order IIRC.

I imagine that the next Kill Team box will be announced, given that was supposed to be released in January by the previous roadmap.

We're pretty out for most of the games at this point. It would be surprising if the Warcry box got no follow up, we don't have anything for Underworlds, and AOS feels like something should be happening too. And there were some kind of hints that Necromunda will have something coming. That plus the remaining Eldar, and maybe even the Horus Heresy box. I'm not sure there'll be room for much else.

Far as I recall we are in a bit of a deadzone for previews so it could be pretty big.

As noted AoS has not much if nothing on radar so there's ample opportunity to start hyping up the next for that, esp if the Eldar release is getting closer and closer

Adepticus Titanicus could do with an update, I'd love to see a second edition of it coming out or a big expansion adding something other than Imperial titans.

AN similarly is all up to date now that the Necrons are out.

I forget where Necromunda is though they've had more of a roadmap than most games.

40K is all on Eldar and Chaos (mostly Eldar) right now so we might see another sneak peak from the release - either showing something in full (like the Avatar) or something totally new (accepting that they are already previewing something on Monday which could well just be something we've seen in sneak peaks so far like the Shining Stars)

Cursed City could also be given a mention with some dates or, as noted, a preview of the Expansion.

It could also be your typical GW preview where they spend 1.5 hours taking 15 minutes for each game system and only revealing 1 mini, with 1-2 obligatory plugs for Whammy+.

Remember, GW previews are like regular previews, but in slow motion. You have to watch around 3 of them to get a 'proper' preview.

Honestly in a normal year I don't mind that because they'd come fairly fast one after the other. It's only the last few years where big events were last moment cancelled and GW's own operations were totally messed up that we wound up with annoying long gaps.

If there's "three big previews in a month" kind of thing I don't mind if each one is smaller.

Hoping GW might get back to the pre Covid Blood Bowl release schedule of a team every quarter. If so, this is one of the prime opportunities for an announcement.

There will be another preview at Adepticon in March so this will probably only cover the next couple of months.
I think we'll see more Eldar stuff including the Avatar, more Chaos Marines, the next Underworlds warband, something for one or two of the specialist games, the next books for AoS and maybe a teaser for The Horus box.

Rumours are saying that AoS isn't getting much until the summer. Spring is all 40k.

Bit of everything I'd imagine. Would be nice to see the following...

Nighthaunt Battletome.
A new Harlequin model.
Cursed City and its first expansion.
The Eldar Codex & new models.
New Underworlds warband.
A solo-coop supplement for AoS.
Soulblight warband for Warcry.
Something new and interesting for both Necromunda and Warcry.
40K Knights.

...usually I'd be optimistic for Titanicus but tired of waiting on GW to sort out its shortcomings. As with the long rumoured Horus Heresy starter set, I'd assume that any news would be announced at the Horus Heresy Weekend event if thats even happening this year?

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

I just want them to go back to doing models for the old Blood Bowl teams that never got updated. Vampires, Norse, Chorfs, Amazons and so on. I'm not interested in any more redundant greenskin teams, or anything new unless they want to do a Fimir team.

I think it was mentioned in the Eldar advent leak thing, but I’ve lost track of how solid that rumour is at this point. I also think it said it isn’t in the codex though so I wouldn’t be expecting it yet if it is true.
