I am about to start work on magnetizing a bunch of my Eldar and I really don't want to drill more than I have to... that said, have any of you mixed Iron Powder in Epoxy to use as a base for the magnets to stick to before?

For parts that are too thin to drill and sink a magnet into, I use nail heads clipped and filed to make a disk to attach too.

I’d worry that to have enough iron filings for a good grip would either affect the set of the epoxy, or be thick. But I’ve never worked with it, just a guess.

I got no idea if that would work, BUT I would say do it or give it a try on one model because now I'm genuinely curious how that would work

To many unpainted models to count.

Well the powder is relatively cheap on Amazon so I'll order some and see how it comes out. Thanks
