Hi all,

Anyone else find this a pain in the a ?

I have been caught out a few times when buying multiple orders from single sellers (internationally).

It says in their description will combine postage, but then when press button to request invoice: Cannot at this time.

I wait sometime and it is then a single purchase button, but is no postage discount at all...

Ends up costing me double to triple the postage (more than the models for 1 of them).

I have decided that anyone using this service I just will not buy from unless it is a single purchase.

This post is more a warning to other buyers on eBay, buying from international places, to look for that clause.

I buy from China... postage is subsidized by the US so its dirt cheap (just wish my taxes were).

Are you buying from the same country or multiple countries? Also there are weight tiers... 8oz, and then at each pound until you hit 10lbs. (9oz... costs you the same as a full pound.)

I almost never buy anywhere else in the world, and I sell on Ebay and haven't found any reason to use the global shipping program for that matter I still can't justify having a storefront either.

If you are after multiple items from one seller ask them to do a custom order for you. That way you only get the one postage cost.
I have done this a few times now for people.
Wanted some figures from one seller in the US who would not do this for me.So that sale was lost to them.It does seem to be a pain in the ass but that is the way things are going.

I never buy from China. I also never try to buy 3d printed/casted of another's work (I hate the concept of buying a reprint or ripping off another's model or re-casters etc. Scum of scum).

I always try to buy genuine old GW products on eBay (living from my youth). I looked into it. If you are buying from overseas from the parent seller (in another country) you will be charged full shipping on all products... if you are same country is reduced????

Isn't the name 'Global' an oxymoron at this point lmao.
