Hello people, i'm sorry if this is already asked but i couldn't find it. From my knowledge if something gives a model +1 strenght and that model has a x2 strenght weapon you multiply before adding, does this work the same for number of attacks? For example a custodes blade champions in dacatarai stance 2 using his Hurricanis profile does 13 or 14 attacks?

Page 5 in the PDF rulebook, Section titled "Dice" 2nd paragraph has the info you are looking for.

Basically with any modifiers, you divide, then multiply, then add, then subtract in that order.

Still really don’t get why they broke the rules of mathematics. I guess I could get s12 power klawz on Goff nobz?, but s10 honestly is functionally the same.

Broke the rules of mathematics?

for math problems you divide/multiply (Left to right) and then add/subtract (Left to right)

Thing is, 40K is not a math problem, and as such never will you have anything that looks like this: 7(x - 2) = 3(x + 4)

40K follows PEDMAS/BODMAS, it makes you do divide/multiply before add/subtract just like in math problems.

Hmmm ok yeah, don’t post on dakka when the nyquil is kicking in .
I still think it is silly though, if the weapon is based on the users strength I feel like it would multiply it after the bonuses because that’s the strength of the user being multiplied. If I can lift an additional 4 pounds using a lever will increase that bonus, not add it to my previous lift weight.

No more silly than Orks, Tyranids, Lascannons, hovering land raiders etc...

It is a game mechanic, not a lesson in physics. It is designed to give a desired play experience. In this case, it prevents drastically escalating values based on manipulation of addition and multiplication.

Reading this it only clears what happens at x2 strenght weapon and a +1, as the attack said "Each time an attack is made with this weapon profile, make 2 hit rolls instead of 1" the blade champion would go to 14 and not 13.

This is one of those cases where I hate how GW writes their rules.

Technically, the Blade Champion is making 7 Attacks that each make 2 Hit Rolls for a total of 14 Hit Rolls. This is a bit absurd since you then treat each of those Hit Rolls as an Attack.

Isn't that what led to the infinite-attack Succubus?

Also, when talking about certain things, like Strength, I'd wager wording matters. If the model's Strength characteristic is what's increased, then x2 melee weapons would apply after that increase (think Gauntlet of Ascension).
