This is WFB rather than AOS so I hope it's appropriate to post here.
If so - I need help!

I'm looking for information on lore around the Sons of Stromfels cult in Warhammer.

Specifically, I'm looking for any official background that refers to the transformation of humans into 'sharkmen'.

Possible sources (which I do not have access to) are : "background material found in the Gotrek and Felix book Slayer of the Storm God. Warhammer Fantasy role play and the black library magainze of canonical short stories - Hammer and Bolter issue 17."

Basically I'm trying to establish if the 'sharkman' character has any basis in official background or if it's just fan-made fluff.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It sounds cool but I have never heard of it other than as fanmade projects and I cn't find any references to it other than that.

I am not an expert but I do alot of work on the Lex and would be interested if you do find some official source though

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001

Someone told me that in the Gotrek and Felix book they meet a manifestation of Stromfels himself. Which is interesting but not the same thing as the possible 'sharkman' transformation.

I've found some references to cultists using a shark's tooth and a blood sacrifice to initiate the change.
But again, I've got no idea if this if fan fiction or just really obscure official background.

Shark-headed beastmen are a thing so be careful with that one...

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
