Taking the plunge on my first 1k Army, wanted to get sone feedback on my list. I'm building off the Combat Patrol box with extra boxes of B.S., Sera/Zeph, Ret. X 2, Missionary and Repentia - I had considered swapping in 10 Sacrosancts but not sure. I could prob dump some points by kicking the missionary down to pistol, chainsword and shotgun - lot of SM locally.

So the bottom half of the is more or less fine (only 1 cherub on min squads of rets, they die too fast) the top half needs some work.

Simulacrum are a trap on anything that doesn't have a multimelta or really strong charges. You're wasting 16pts per squad on a bonus you won't use.

You have 2 Repentia superior, you only really need 1.

You can't use Exemplar of the Order at all. This is a BR list, Exemplar is OoML locked, so the list is illegal.

Missionaries are pretty bad. Take a Palantine and use some of the simulacrum points on a preacher. You can also give her the Blade of St. Mina as a cheap source of Mortal wounds.

The Canoness is one of your best melee tools. You should give her either Rapturous Blows+Blazing Ire+Blessed Blade+Iron Surplice of Saint Istalia OR Word of the Emperor+Blade of Saint Ellynor+Righteous Rage.

I have been having issues with Battlescribe so I am not surprised I have something illegal assembled ;( Great points all around and will def retool based on the input! My wife (god bless her) ended up treating me to some suprise add-on boxes yesterday from my local FLG - 1 x Morvenn Vahl, 2 x Celestian Sacrosancts, 1 x Sister Dogmata - I may just retool the whole list although I am worried Vahl may be too expensive for 1k?

So I revamped my list to see if I could fit Morvenn Vahl into a 1000 point game - it a bit of a stretch but this is where I landed (hopefully this time around its legal)
