TTCombat have a campaign for little resin Halflings…in Space.. They strongly resemble GW IG miniatures in pint size. They also have familiar (yet superior) looking tanks for 30 pounds.

Shipping to ROW is 7 pounds. They also have some resin terrain made from recycled resin.

I love everything except the rifles that look like Super Soaker water guns.

If that's the standard firearm (instead of, say, a humorous take on a flamer), I'm out.

The veteran squads have better looking weapons. But yeah, the army deals are full of super soakers for some reason.

I expect the snipers will have better weapons, too.

I like the Commissar Yarrick halfling although I'd have preferred the angle on the powerfist to be different. Even with the variant arm length, the elbow angle/distance seems off.

Rifles are horrible...bayonet doesnt reach further than the muzzle so wont be usabe...HMG have 1 wheel...its ok but the tanks are very nice.

The tanks are just strange. Similar geometry to the gw kits for the hulls with a wider and flatter turret to make it more halfling proportions I guess. And the weapons are just a mess.

I like elements of many of the models, but overall it just seems to fit together wrong.

I do have some hopes for the psychic halfling and techling though.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the ogryn as well if they unlock.

Hah, I love the Commander. The original is definitely one of my all time favourite GW sculpts. Very nice homage (ripoff)

Funny looking army except for the guns. But it's at the prototype stage so maybe TTC will change them if people complain.

Which they'd sell STLs. I'd be all over those Gyro-Sentinels, and Itty Bitty Yarrick.

Yarrick and flying sentinels are my favourites. I have no problem with rifles looking like the water guns but bayonets positioned like this are useless.

The Halflings faces mostly 3d copy paste are really not doing those models many favours.

They already do. Desert of the Dead was first Tombs Kings vs Desert Elves, halflings were just an addition. Previous one gave us female ogres, goblins, dragons and giants. Bretonnian halflings were just a part.

And here we do have orks and human sand warriors in the add ons. That they never showed nor released before as well. It is weird they're not that much talked about, I must say...the picture they put on the front page is too small to really appreciate what they're offering, IMHO.

TBH, at this scale (we're talking about 25mm tall, here, not heroic scale 40mm humans), details on faces don't show that much. So using the same isn't really a bother. And since it's all about mass producing big units for smaller cost...

Its down to the final day for this Kickstarter, they've gone ahead and made all of the unreached stretch goals available as add-ons.

That's because those models were made years ago by MaxMini and when they shutdown TTCombat brought their company. The Orcs are the WW2 themed American models that were in MaxMini's troubled 'Green Alliance' Kickstarter.

Yeah i agree, this is their 3rd Kickstarter they've done with a large focus on Halflings and i just wish they would move on from them already. (I'm not counting Desert of the Dead either, they ran their first Halfing Kickstarter on a different account.)

Wait. Orks dressed as WW2 Allies? Huh? That’s surprisingly unconventional.

It’s a shame they never fixed the squirt guns into lasguns.

I will admit they're (IMO) in a damned if you do/don't situation with that move. Having them suddenly "unlock" means that they were fake stretch goals to begin with and you don't know if they have the resources to develop them further and would have anyways or if you're buying something that may never happen because the funds will be used to pay for the goals pseudo-unlocked below them assuming they needed the money to do it.

What was the first halfling campaign's theme/focus? I'm a bit of a Halfling fanboy (my first and only WHFB force was a small moot army in the mid 90s) so I don't mind a company focusing on it. That said... I'm not interested in a halfling themed 40k force though and would only get the occasional character mini (like the still silhouetted locked officer with sword model) so I'm not currently the target audience.
