Malach, Night Lords Chaos Sorcerer

I recently finished my Chaos Sorcerer! This guy was really fun. As with the rest of my chaos and heresy era Night Lords I really enjoyed painting him. I was a little worried about the purple lightning on the cape/robes, but I actually like it!

The only conversations I did were removing the warp energy from the right palm and adding a skull. His helmet is an old 3rd edition chaos raptor champion head.

Thanks for checking it out!!

The lightning is very well done, especially with the fuzzy edges. The trim an bone is nicely shaded and highlighted. It could just be the photo, but I'm not seeing enough blues or purples coming through. That would be my only criticism.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Thank you! Yeah i unfortunately haven’t invested in a light box, which I’m sure would help. I did also use some more muted tones on the purple and dark blue so they probably aren’t showing well with this backdrop

He looks great - the lightning really jumps out, and I'm severely envious of how sharp the highlighting on all the bone decoration is.
