One of the old guard of 40k hobby sites is the Fighting Tigers of Veda (http://fightingtigersofveda.com) by Kenton Kilgore, but now it looks like the site is gone. Did anyone hear anything about it going down, or is this a temporary setback?

Oh man, I remember the old site. Cool to see that he was still posting until a couple years ago. Hopefully it's not gone for good.

Way back can preserve good writing, but it would be tragic if all images of the tigers were lost.

That site was a huge source of inspiration when I was first starting out in the hobby ~20 years ago.

I shot Kenton a message, hopefully he will reply back with some answers.

Just for your info, go to Amazon and google his name, he has a bunch of books out for young adults. Buy them and make him some money!

This is not a paid advertisement lol.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

Have you read any of his work? Is it actually good? I looked him up on Amazon, and the first review for the lost dog book repeatedly compares him to an author who is very political and very tedious. Is that accurate?

I’m put off buying just on the strength of that “positive” review.

I keep meaning to go to one of his local appearances to buy his books and get them signed, but something always comes up, and I am about 40 minutes north of him.
