So, I'm trying to ensure I've got my rules figured out here on just how many swings my Daemon prince will be able to make with this current set up.

Giving her (Slaaneshi Prince) a set of Malefic Talons.
-At this point her base attacks would be 6. With the talons I could get up to 8 attacks, correct? Swing with each for a bonus 1 attack per talon?

So if I equip her with the relic Thaa'ris and Rhi'ol, The Rapacious which turns them into Daemon Weapons that each get D3 extra attacks when used.
Exact wording being (Pg. 113): Each time the bearer is selected to fight, it can make an additional D3 attacks with each of these daemon weapons (roll each separately).

So, does the +1 attacks each for the Talons stack with the D3 extra gained from the relic? Meaning if I swing with each Claw I can get a max potential of 4 attacks per weapon, thus bringing the Prince to a potential grand total of 14 attacks?

Edit: As far as I'm aware the relic doesn't replace any of the weapons special rules, merely adding onto them.

Edit Edit: Max 14, not 10. Cuz I'm a colossal dumbo.

You have 6 attacks on your profile, and each time the model fights, it has two separate weapons that grant 1+D3 attacks.

So yes, net result is 8+2D3 attacks.

Excellent! Thank you all! Just wanted to have that cleared up. Brain felt it was this way but never hurts to have things double checked!

Apologies on a late comment - (New to 9th - coming back in from RT/2nd era because im that old and had a lengthy break)
Pouring over this myself now having had a couple games with my BL Slaaneshi Prince.
If you add the Paragon of Hatred WL Trait if he is your warlord you gain an additional 1 attack which becomes D3 against Imperium for a new Max of 15-17 attacks depending on your opponent.
Been interesting in my small town LGS as games are all 500pts so far so been using a Prince as Warlord buffed by a MOP.

My query is:
If you fail your Ld test it (Fails on 11 or 12 on 2D6) means you get 0 attacks (unles you take the D3 MW) as the only weapons available are the actual Talons or do you still get your base attacks as I think ive been misisng this point......
If was buffed by a MOP with Delightful Agonies (providing a 5+ Feel No Pain) does he get that save against those MW?
Complex Beast this one......

If you fail your LD test you can only make attacks with a close combat weapon at S user AP0 D1, unless you suffer D3 MW. Delightful agonies would help against the D3 MW.

Select Weapon
When a model makes a close combat attack, it must do so using a melee weapon (i.e. a weapon that has the ‘Melee’ type). The weapons a model is equipped with are described on its datasheet. If a model is not equipped with any melee weapons, or if it cannot make an attack with any of the melee weapons it is equipped with, then that model makes its attacks using a close combat weapon, which has the following profile:

WEAPON RANGE TYPE S AP D
Close combat weapon Melee Melee User 0 1

If the WL trait replaces your weapon that is on your data sheet then it will be as p5freak stated. If it does not state that it replaces your normal melee weapon (it just adds to it) then you go with your base stats as given.

There is no WL trait which replaces a weapon.
