I'm hoping to get some more of this material to put in the top of the really-useful-boxes I store my models in.

What I have is pretty good at stopping models moving around, and the 'waves' give some flexibility if the models in the box are different heights.

I don't think it's "sound insulation foam" - that stuff looks similar but it's too expensive.
But is it "egg box foam", "dimple drying foam" or something else? And is there a good place to buy it as Ebay and Amazon seem stupidly expensive for the products on those keywords (if indeed they are the same stuff).

Look for the mattress topper. Much cheaper. It’s like $25 for a twin bed.

I've called it "waffle" and last got it off a stall at Eagle Market in Derby (5 years ago?)

Sound insulation foam is much denser if I remember rightly (and harder too?).

I also got some in laptop boxes - maybe ask Currys if they throw any out?

Quick look on ebay turned this up:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155059769051?hash=item241a484edb:g:uokAAOSwjaZiP0Sl

10 sheets for £12.99.....postage £5.30... strikes me as a good price.
