huh... I never noticed that (haven't played nighthaunt in a hot minute), that sucks. Is there like a Legends document or something that has the warscroll for it there?

Here you go:
https://www.warhammer-community.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/ZSGu5E0qVvhlmEuC.pdf

If you're looking for it on GWs site this is found under the AoS FAQs.
If you're trying to find it on the US site? You have to delete the en-US/ part of the URL. Otherwise all you get is a 404 error.

You can also find it on Whahapedia under Nighthaunt.

FW has steadily purged most of the AoS model line. About the only bits left are demons that cross with other games and the Gloomspite models. Which I will note are about the only FW AoS models that ever got any marketing when the GSG got their battletome released. I even saw the Community Team do a post on "exalted greater demons" and didn't even mention the FW models once (which technically were the official models for them).

I think FW have even removed the only AoS models they ever made - the Stormcast alternate heads.

So its no surprise the rules are missing or trickier to find.

Nighthaunt might have it hard getting a new big model. Right now it seems GW is giving most factions one big model to use and there's still a bunch of factions that could do with some major updates. Whilst AoS is getting a lot of creative love, its got a huge amount of baggage from its inception.
Nighthaunt might be further back too as they did fantastically well out of being the big bad in AoS 2.0.
That said the signs are good in general - the Cities of Sigmar - or at least the good humans in the setting - are looking to get a big update this year at some point. At least GW have hinted at them a lot.

I’m used to the android app, they were mixed in with the army

I didn’t realize they had a dedicated spot in the iOS app

Thanks all.

I was thinking about allying some soulblight vargheist.

Might not be a big monster but they hit pretty hard and seem to have good maneuverability at 3 for 150ish

It WAS during the first edition of generals handbook. On the 2nd version of GHB, it was nerfed to the ground and has been a pointless model ever since.

Just house rule in the first edition GHB rules for the Morn, bump up its points to somewhere between 420 and 450 as 400 for what we got in 2018 was cheap, and we have the monster NH deserves.

Took me a while to find it, completely not where I expected it.

For posterity: Expansion -> Monstrous Arcanum -> Behemoth section of Warscrolls/Pitched Battle profiles

Well it was always in monstorous arcanum. It has never been battletome warscroll.

Or a Gargant. Seen really cool army specific conversions of both for armies that lack a big beasty.

I think that is kind of the point of Incarnates. It also works very well for NH and FeC bc it gives a large tanky unit to make units get stuck in combat while they go running around, fallbacks, etc...

Well of course the no fallback applies to own guys as well.

If you get in range, you can tie up 1 Gargant for example and go handle the other 2-3. Or tie up Mawcrushers, etc.... you need 2 turns to kill it, thats insanely good utility.

Gargants have rule that allows any army take one as mercenary. Costs you cp on 1st battleround and can't take other allies. Death gets mercenary gate breaker with bonus rule ovdr reqular gatebreaker.

If you want a monster, you have to pay the points for it, nothing "big" is cheap.

Sounds like "elite units" would be more what you are looking for.

Incarnates are a new unit/enhancement that every army can have, it is a Monster that has to be bound to a hero (basically a pokemon for one of your heroes).

Alarielle did a spell to counter Nagashs death spell that didn't really work well and now we have inanimate objective being pumped with insane levels of magic so they are coming to life, heroes with strong enough will/power can control them.

after reading the replies i was thinking the same thing FrozenDwarf.
i suppose i was thinking more like ogre or troll, something that can doll out more than 1 damage reliable.
