Hello!
I'm tackling my pile of shame and I'm finally getting to paint my necrons, I set myself on a bothersome color scheme and would lov som help in finding wich paints i could use
My goal is doing this with a couple of tweaks : https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/783246.page

I would love to archieve these things:
-a final result that's a little more bright as i want them to look a bit more ghostly
-finding a way to incorporate the green rods a little better as i find them cool and would love to keep them, my plan for now is to fill the minis with green and yello fake moss to help it blend in, as of now i plan to pain some details like stones an hang stuff from there like old tombstones
-find an alternate set of paints as i would prefer to cheap out a bit, the OG scheme calls for basilicanum grey, terradon turqoise and contrast medium my plan is to find a decent grey and turquoise and buy a couple of bottles of medium, is the gw one the only viable one?
-find a basing solution as i would like to base them as if they were in a mossy and humid cave so I'm torn between a super dark and blue/green tinged or a tan/beige one with reddish and green tones and details
-Find a way to add a crackle effect on the larger panel of the veicles without it looking obviously artificial or slobbering the minis in tecnical paints

If you have some ideas or solutions i would love to hear them! I've been in the hobby for ages but this is my first real army project so I'm just making sure that everithing's right before committing
Thanks in advance!
