Greetings all,

K - 47 is picking up in my area, so I thought I'd begin posting my various models including some WIP.

For now, let's go with the last unit I finished a few months ago -- Axis Shocktroopers.

I'll be focusing on Germany for the rest of this year, and Japan in 2023.

Thanks for viewing and feedback welcomed.

Very nice. The glowy goggles give them a spooky appearance. For those of us who don’t know what K-47 is or the concept behind the German army you’ll collecting would you mind giving us a quick primer?

Is it like WW2 with zombies and werewolves and stuff? Are these Shocktroopers shocking in the Scooby-Doo sense?

Why thank you Crowe.
And I'm happy to; here's the setting's elevator pitch:

During WW II, two atomic explosions form rifts in the fabric of space, and soon signals are intercepted. Information about advanced alien technology is discovered, and the war breaks out re-energized on all fronts. The new weaponry and experimental troops turns 1947 into a ravaged, terrifying battlefield.

The axis dabble in corpse re-animation, and their werewolves in gas masks are some of my fav models. The soviets engage in equally disturbing experiments. Yet aside from these horrors, there is nothing metaphysical in the game setting. No cultists, no godlike Cthulhu critters.
A notable difference from what was Dust 1947.

With some notable exceptions, it is otherwise based on and very similar to the Bolt Action rule system, and uses many of the same minis.

This model is from Warlord Games, a novelty blister of this Count and a UK commander wielding a cross.
He makes a fitting Oberleutnant for my German forces, however, in K-47.

Up next is a work in progress.

I did not like the open hatch and driver for this Spinne Mech, so a converted top cover was in order.
With that complete this is on my painting desk.

Started on a rough camo scheme last night. A bit of an experiment, and definitely needs some dry brushing.
Because of the chaotic state of the world in 1947, and the war-ravaged unconventional forces, I am personally fine with my mechs and tanks having several different color schemes. I'm enjoying this one so far.

Nice choice of colours for the camo. Now all you have to do is totally blow it’s cover with a series of ministry-mandated squadron and mission markings.

If you want to see a variety of aircraft camo schemes from WW2 hop over to my Aircraft gallery. Link in the signature. There’s splinter camo, snow schemes, desert schemes, Italian fancy stuff and a variety of French and Soviet styles. All as accurate as I could do in 1:300 scale. Might give you some inspiration from the era for your next vehicles.

That's a wonderful gallery collection, I enjoyed perusing the different types. Thanks so much.

As for mandated squadron markings, I just ordered decals yesterday from Rubicon. Going to slow my progress on the Spinne for a week, but that is ok.
Here she is resting and waiting. I added a drybrushed highlight to brighten the edges and tie the paint together a bit more.

Decals from Rubicon finally arrived -- African Campaign, turret numbers, and SS Panzer division. I'm stoked. These are, to begin, for the Spinne and will be used on a variety of vehicles and tanks later.
Most pics of the packets did not come out, due to many of the decals being lighter in color.

Going to do some research to see where to apply them, but not too much time and definitely no stress -- in K-47 any aesthetic works.

My German heavy sniper team completed. This uniform color is my vision of how they changed battlefield appearance after 1946.

Liking that alternative colour scheme, they look good! German forces also looking very nicely done.

Many thanks for the feedback!

Here's a German Projektor I forgot to post.

Enjoy.

Choices of colours are good, paintjob very decent, and it's just that refreshing to get a blog dedicated to that game! One of the many games I wish I would have got but since players are scarce over there...

Anyway, keep posting, that's a delight!

Bolt Action: Germany/ USA

"The Dakka Dive Bar is the only place you'll hear what's really going on in the underhive. Sure you might not find a good amasec but they grill a mean groxburger. Just watch for ratlings being thrown through windows and you'll be alright." Ciaphas Cain, probably.

Thank you so much for enjoying my efforts.

We have exactly four players for Konflikt. I consider us very fortunate.

Here's a bunker / gun emplacement. This is from an old army men toy play set from when I was a little pup.

It's one of the only terrain pieces I have left from the original set, and is probably from 1981 or so. Painted up well enough but took a load of primer.

Greetings all, long time no see.

I've chipped away a bit more for my German K-47 forces.

You'll notice their alternate color scheme stays consistent for any Winter uniforms or monster / Toten clothing. I may do standard infantry a more traditional grey. I don't know, should I do the light blue redesigned uniform look on all of them?
