So back in the day... (back, back, back in the day) the leader of my toy soldiers good guys was one of the precious Britains figures I picked up in Epcot Center.

He led an eclectic band of Vietnam era Green Army men (in various scales from 1/4" to 5"), blue knights from some D&D-like play set, some cowboys and few other Britains against a mob of dinosaurs, Nazis, Japs and Orcs led by an evil Britains space man.

I always loved that pose, and called him the Lone Knight.

Does anyone know of a good knight type mini that might match this pose and look or a pit it can be made from?

I tried Reaper and found one that came a little close but not enough.

I've been playing with making a 40k version out of Dark Angels but I'd love a knight who can match his 'come at me bro' pose.

One of these foot knights is a reasonable match. https://www.wargamesfoundry.com/collections/early-medieval-barons-wars-the-13th-century/products/med301-foot-knights-1

you could try searching for 'Bretonnia' and look for old foot knights; the Foundry suggestion above are a bit smaller in scale(more in tune with LotR 25mm) rather than 28mm. if you want more of a 40k version, then I suggest Crusader from BSF expansion heroes.

I think there were a couple of Bretonnian Knights on foot (the old metals) that had similar poses.

Found this Grail Knight Hero on foot on Solegends, http://www.solegends.com/citcat1998us/c1998usp016-02.htm

The two or three in that 1998 catalog tend to have swords raised though.

But I also have one that is standing more square like your example, but with a larger headcrest and sword and shield. But I can't find a picture of it.

Perry Foot Knights/Men-at-Arms kit would easily make him if that helps?

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Heroforge is having a sale right now, so you can pose your own.

Here's two (same figure, different pose) I worked up in about six minutes. No advanced posing, which I usually do.
This is Heroforge's official "Come At Me Bro" pose.

Now I like this pose better, but this is Kid Kyoto's project, so my preference is moot.

Yeah a Hero Forge STL might be best. I can join the hundred other STLs waiting for me to take the plunge.

Yes, I know how that goes. But the sale encouraged me to pull the trigger on 5 prints and 2 .stls. An undead cyberpunk hacker for Chrome Hammer: Ascension, which calls for some unusual figures both friend and foe. A kitsune mage, clothed as a woman of the Edo Period, so I can use her in fantasy, L5R, and Chrome Hammer, and 3 "Author Appeal" figures based on characters from the Author Appeal fic I've started writing thanks to your fanfic thread. At the risk of TMI, I like my women buxom, curvy, and scantily clad. The .stls were purchased as they use XL options and I think the $10 premium for the XL options is highway robbery. Yes, they'd use more plastic, but for what I designed, they'd probably only use $3 more plastic. I suppose they do have to factor into the price that someone will want a true XL sized figure, with XL weapons, Wings, and then XL stage options. That would consume lots of plastic.

LOL glad to hear that fanfic idea helped. I know it certainly helped me over some humps in naming characters and describing them.

I must have 50+ designs saved in Hero Forge, I tried printed off my Adepus Arbites as a local library but just got unusable globs of supports. I've a lot to learn if I ever get into printing.

My fondness for billowing capes is no doubt part of the problem.
