Been out of the hobby since 2008/09. Recently re-entered when a friend grabbed a kill team and paint out of boredom.

I grabbed some T'au Stealth Suits and some army painter paints. Fast forward a bit and I found an old Fire Warrior box and wanted to try some contrast paints. Not too bad of an outcome in my opinion - very steep learning curve with these though.

Citadel whites still seem a bit finicky, maybe return to my old method of stippling them on.

Happy for any thoughts/criticism. Or questions.

That's a solid paintjob. The whites look nice and clean and as you mentioned, that is not an easy task. And the lenses are nicely detailed. I feel like ochre could use a little more attention. Maybe a touch more highlights.

What are your plans for basing?

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Yeah seen. I did put a lick of Ungor Flesh on it but it blends in quite a bit. Maybe a touch of Screaming Skull.

No idea at this stage.
