Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

Not sure where to put this thread (40k? RPG? Models?), but thought the fact it's mainly to do with finding models would make it best placed here.

I've started a Dark Heresy campaign and when planning my original plan was to just let the players choose suitable figures from my large collection, but then upon looking through my models I realised basically everything I own is some chaosy, daemonic model or conversion: I don't really own anything Imperial. So looks like I'll have to buy/build some new models

So I thought I might enquire here for some inspiration and/or some places that sell Inquisitorial agent style models.

The party contains:
- An admech sudo-surgeon with a robotic arm and several mechatendrals (male)
- An admech sniper who's mostly still all flesh (male)
- A bald, hunched administorum worker with a specialisation in medical/biological knowledge (male)
- A blind, religiously fanatical psyker (female)
- An imperial assassin from the Eversor temple, before they become a monster (female)

(Ignore the shaky lore behind these characters, I'm introducing them all to 40k)

I am open to buying models, buying bits for conversion and printing off models/bits.

Gonna carry on looking for something that jumps out at me but till then, any creative inspiration is welcome; this will be my first time building models without covering them in heresy.

Thanks!

If you are up for printing:

HeresyLabs has some great gothic styled digital sculpts
https://www.myminifactory.com/users/Heresylab-Scifi

Papsikels has a huge range of great tributes to a wide range of sci-fi favourites:

If you go searching through MMF and Thingiverse, then you'll be able to find all kinds of sci-fi models.

Here are my random collections for all things sci-fi-peeps:

I was looking at HeresyLabs' models on another site, I think your link has much more of their work though, cheers!

I hadn't come across Papsikels before, will take a look.

And thanks for the collections, makes going through thingiverse much easier.

Cheers!

If you want to use official GW minis, the Adeptus Mechanicus line would obviously be a good source for your tech-priest type as well as your sniper and possibly the surgeon. Another possibility is the Genestealer Cult range, which has some techie, mad-scientist-looking character minis in it.

For the sniper, there is an old metal Vostroyan sniper miniature which has a bit of an ad-mech feel to it, though you’d have to track it down on the second-hand market.

For the assassin, the Eldar and Dark Eldar lines have a good range of figures wearing bodysuits.
For the psyker, there was an actual female imperial psyker released as part of one of the expansion sets for Blackstone Fortress. OOP now, so it would be another one to find second-hand.

There is a female Genestealer magus model that might do as well, and if you want to emphasise the religious aspect, there’s a few robed figures in the Adeptus Sororitas range that might not look too much like a battle sister with a bit of conversion.
