Not only are the stories entertaining but they really are taking role playing to the masses with 1.84 million subscribers and a massive 900,000+ views on one of their last videos. Why can't GW make some media that gets these numbers? Is it a lack of talent, as in voice actors, etc? It'd be great to see 40k get some of that kind of action.

In any case they have great characters and storylines. The goblin who steals all the booze was way fun to watch. What are some of your favorite aspects or characters or events in the groundbreaking series?

The problem of why this success is hard to replicate is probably a combination of talent and interest. The cast of Critical Role were professionals before Critical Role became famous. It's quality and the quality of play, is massively better than most like Let's Plays or Live Roleplays because of the people involved and they did it for the love of the game rather than to get rich off of it perse.

The next closest ones that are nearly as enjoyable are Dark Dice (which also has a professional crew) and Dungeons and Daddies (which is just fething funny).

I listen to Dungeons and Daddies. But DnD is for Nerds from Sans Pants is my go to. Season 1 and 2 is them getting into the swing of things. It gets WAY better when they start switching chatacters and stories regularly.

Also they have some world of darkness stories called beyond the map.

And the hilarious dinosaur park series.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.
