So that makes 3 from Mythic now if you count Mythic Battles. I knew they had the Solomon Kane license as they teased it in the last MB:R update.

Monolith is pleased to announce the acquisition of Reichbusters brand and Solomon Kane games from their former owner custodian Mythic Games. Reichbusters is a universe we loved since day one. Here, players cooperatively fight against an alternative nazi reich full of occult, weird, and alien technology. This board game will be back, but with a different, fresh and streamlined set of rules, enhanced with additional content.
Concerning Solomon Kane โ€ฆ it is way too soon to talk about it in details, but as you saw on our last Conan RPG announcement, we have many, many plans going on in the Robert E. Howard universe.
Note that Monolith has no connection with the Solomon Kane pre-orders made on Mythic Games store.

Hopefully they figure out how to release the SK miniatures in boxes by themselves. Great miniatures and many I'd like more of without paying for a bunch of cardboard.

It's a Mythic firesale as CMoN announced buying some of their games.

Singapore, December 9 2022 - CMON is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Super Fantasy Brawl, Enchanters and Steamwatchers brands from current custodian Mythic Games. CMON intends to continue publishing the existing titles while exploring new avenues for games and storytelling set in each of these worlds.

Super Fantasy Brawl, designed by Jochen Eisenhuth, first hit Kickstarter in 2019, and the fast-paced brawler series has gone on to raise over $1 million on the platform as well as earning a dedicated fan base. First released in 2016, Enchanters by designers Rafaล‚ Cywicki, Jacek Goล‚ฤ™biowski is the long running fantasy card-drafter and crowdfunding hit that went on to spawn multiple successful expansions and positive reviews. The newest of the titles, Steamwatchers, designed by Marc Lagroy, debuted in 2021 via a successful Kickstarter campaign. The area-control game explores a unique and fascinating post-apocalyptic frozen Europe where players must harness the power of the Earth to survive the ecologically ravaged wasteland.

I actually feel a bit better about my 2 outstanding Mythic KS as this is a good way to get capital. Though it does show that Mythic really doesn't know how to support any game once it's out of crowdfunding.

A bit more on their plans. As I thought they have the whole Solomon Kane IP for different games and will be bringing back Shane Hensley as the lead for the RPG.

The Howard era is not coming to an end with Conan, however, as 2023 will also see the return of Solomon Kane as a roleplaying game! Shane Lacy Hensley, the renowned author of roleplaying games (such as Deadlands) and the creator of Pinnacle Entertainment, has taken up his quill and his arms once again to offer a revisited version of Solomon Kane, which he had already written using the Savage Worlds rules. The perfect chance to explore this universe and its supernatural horrors.

Edit: Matt John confirmed that it's a new revised version of the Savage Worlds Solomon Kane. And that the minis from Mythic will be marketed for the RPG.

Monolith and Pinnacle are bringing back the Savage World of Solomon Kane RPG!
What are your thoughts? I'm biased for two reasons: I work for Monolith AND I've played and really dig the game. Savage Worlds works rather well for pulp and s&s in my opinion, and boy oh boy, do we have miniatures for SK!

This is great as there were several I wanted but didn't want the game Mythic Boardgame itself.

Also Monolith has a new policy that a game be ready to be manufactured when the Kickstarter Launches. For Orkquest:

This will be the first Kickstarter campaign to adopt our new policy, with the launch happening when the development phase is complete and the factory has already received all the files. This is the best way to guarantee deliveries as quickly as possible and to reassure you during these often-troubled times.

And of course The new Conan Box set replacing the original. Red Nails.

A little later in the year, Conan will be venturing into new lands filled with dangers and schemes as part of the Kickstarter campaign for the Red Nails Expansion. Other wonders are also waiting to be discovered beyond the strange pillars, making even the most outlandish wishes come trueโ€ฆ

So what has happened to Mythic? They taking the money and running?

I backed the first Conan KS, and they delivered, but my friend got screwed with Mythic Battles Pantheon.

Mythic sold a bunch of their IP and licensed stuff to Monolith and CMoN as they were having money issues. I think it was related to Darkest Dungeon mostly but they've had several games they've had massively delayed and reworked a bunch like Solomon Kane and Hel (which still hasn't had much of an real update in a long time) and some layoffs a few years ago.

I don't think they're running. They're doing things that clearly indicate that they're short on cash, and product is being delayed. But they still appear to attempt to be delivering.

Some of their properties or rights are being sold off in an attempt to raise the money that they need to deliver on what they've promised.

I feel like my $600+ into Monsterpocalypse may legitimately vanish... Eh... it's on my for not noticing the extreme delays and issues from Mythic.

I hope so. I'd be interested in the miniatures themselves, but I have zero interest in getting the board games to get them.

They're likely going to be separate given the quote from Matt John I posted. He also didn't correct anyone on Facebook when they said they were looking forward to getting the minis without the boardgame.

That's good to know. Hopefully, it works out that way.

For sure. There's a bunch I want as well. But we won't know until the RPG goes on sale.

Thanks for the replies. I hope that Monolith will use the money raised to fulfill their outstanding kickstarters. I'd also be curious if they could sell minis outside of their games. From a Boardgame Geek monthly miniatures geeklist I participate in, I've seem a few people mention an interest in the Solomon Kane minis. So there's some interest from casual mini gamers.

Mythic is the one selling the IPs so they can fulfill. Monolith is one of the companies that bought the IP from mythic.

Miniature Market is having a "Blow out" boargame sale and a lot of Mythic stuff is there for a pretty good price so I wouldn't be surprised if Mythic sold extra stock of everything to MM. Most Solomon Kane expansions are $24 for example (were $45-55 in the kickstarter).

Reichbusters is $40 and it's SG box is $30 (including exclusives)

Joan of Arc has a lot of stuff on sale for $40 or less

the solomon kane expansions are even cheaper at MM

https://www.miniaturemarket.com/searchresults/?q=solomon+caine&filter[]=manufacturer_uFilter:%22Mythic%20Games%22

the africa one at $20
new world, vampires and red shadows $16
castle of the devil $10

and the replacement marilyn minis (miscast in the original run of the main game) $4

well worth picking up for the minis alone at that price if you live in the USA

Much better prices but I'm happy I ordered when I did as Reichbusters sold out pretty fast and you never know if the Solomon Kane stuff was going too as well. Was a lot of paper in the recycling though.
