In the standard model the rim of the manhole sits well above the level of the base, looking really odd.
So the first pic shows the base after I drilled out a hole so it would sit flush.
First using a drill hole saw I put the base upside down on a doormat and held it in place with my right foot as I don't have a clamp or vice. The damage shows why I did it upside down as it took quite a bit of effort to get it to 'bite' at the point I wanted. But well worth the effort.
The skin is all green and brown washes using
GW shades.
Finished with a newspaper of Lizard vs Spiderman.
