In a flurry of inspiration, I have built a staff officer for the High Command of my Armageddon battlegroup. I came across a neat unit profile for such in an old White Dwarf and it was too cool to pass up. Way better idea than how Lord Solar Leonatus turned out...





Weirdly niche units for so much effort though.


This is a Cadian lieutenant seconded to the Armageddon Command Guard unit leading the battlegroup. They are drawn from the Cadian regiment within the group (as per standard Departmento Munitorum practice, regiments typically have twice as many officers as required to fill out the general staff). They have a servo skull hovering data terminal and a chronometer. I imagine they are coordinating reserves.

Still a work in progress- needs a head for a start... I don't currently own the head I have in mind. I am really pleased with how the servo skull hover terminal came out.






The General will be Armageddon- I have a conversion base in mind, but it will be some time before I can get the model. The command squad will also be Steel Legion. The other two staff officers are going to be drawn from the Valhallan and Semtexian detachments supporting the force. The Valhallan will be an intelligence officer and the Semtexian will obviously be an artillery director. I plan to add some scribes and a personal preacher to the unit.

Updates will be very infrequent on this one.
