Hi,

I want to post my first new codex 2000 points list. Since there is no more Renegades Codex I use the Astra Militarum Codex for my games.
I´m starting with 3 CPs. What are you thinking?

Dual plasma guns on the troops will need to become plasma/melta once the first FAQ fixes that typo but other than that it looks pretty standard. The only thing I'd consider changing is grouping up the armored Sentinels into a single unit of three. You want the scouts as single-model units to maximize their screening value but the armored Sentinels are a great choice for buff stacking. Give them Lord Solar's re-roll, take aim, and the relic flag for a very strong shooting alpha strike and then charge for even more damage if something is in range. It's a very good second threat once the Kasrkin bomb is used.

Thanks for your response. I have plenty of meltas in my bitbox but for now I use plasma/plasma.
I think the three stand-alone armored sentinels are (in this army) better than a single unit. I will have more flexibility in the late- or endgame, I think. Spliting my sentinels to grab objectives, to stuck troops in melee ...
Also players tend to split their fire against small/weak units like sentinels, what often ends in not killing a unit.
If I would buff a unit of three armored sentinels with my lord solar they can reroll all hit- an woundrolls, but they already reroll all 1s to hit and wound near the lord solar, and they will get buffed with take aim (+1 to hit, 1 AP).
I think sometimes it´s better you have one big unit, sometimes it´s better to have more single units. If I would have an enginseer or psyker, the choice would be easier.
