You get "four plasma rifles, three flamers, four fusion blasters, four burst cannons, three missile pods" per box of 3 Crisis. zero CIBs.

Instead you get 1 whole CIB per Commander box, which has "an airburst frag projector, a plasma rifle, a flamer, a fusion blaster, a cyclic ion blaster, a burst cannon (plus upgrade kit) and a missile pod".

1,000 point lists are hard to value as it is hard to predict what kind of table you will be on.

I think you might be going a bit overboard on drones though and might find you aren't killy enough.

General idea is to start Broadsides in the backfield, giving support.
Stealth Suits let me Deep Strike my Enforcer and Crisis team turn one, or I could start them on the board. Not sure which is better.

I've never really rated the Thermoneutronic Projector. Too many points and the Thermo doesn't have the auto-hits of a flamer, instead getting the attacks in melee. Though if you are making a punchy commander it is definitely the prototype to go with for damage output.

I also prefer the SIPU compared to Onager, relic-wise, as it is a free slotless shield generator, plus you ignore the damage of the first unsaved attack per turn. That allows you to add an extra gun to maximise the ranged firepower you can squeeze out of that nice BS2+. But that is much more personal preference as I value tankiness over punchiness.

The Laws of Thermodynamics:
1) You cannot win. 2) You cannot break even. 3) You cannot stop playing the game.

I've been a melee person my whole 40k career. I need SOMETHING that's punchy-it just wouldn't feel right otherwise.

I didn't really look at the Commander weapons the first time around.

I would magnetize all the suits (except stealth) if you can, but especially the Commander.

I don't like the Missile Pod or the Sheild Generator. I tend to go 4 good weapons to maximise the BS 2 and full re-rolls to hit and wound. I don't usually bother with any defensive items, as once they get a shot or punch on the Commander they probably die. But, your playstyle may vary the results so magnets to the rescue as you experiment.
