The event starts at 10am Nottingham time, which is in 90 minutes, and is said to reveal at least two Battletomes for AoS and some miniatures, so have a thread for all the news

Don't know what else to expect, this event has been weirdly under-advertised compared to others, you can't even really find a schedule - the only relevant information i could find online is that there'll be four time slots for entry, 10am-2.30pm and 3pm-7.30pm on both days, so if they do an 'official' summary of the reveals on the community site it will probably be oriented on that somehow.

And now we wait...

You would assume we know everything by 2:30pm in that case.

Yeah, i'd guess they do a run-up once the first group gets out at the latest, but some potato-cam pics may turn up sooner. There does not seem to be a seminary or workshop for the reveals from what i can see online, so maybe that stuff is just standing around in vitrines or whatever. As i said, this event is weird, usually they'd do an announcment for the summary, but nada...

There are 2 hidden AoS videos on Youtube likely 1 for each Battletome. There's 2 hidden 40K as well.

That sounds good, probably pre-seeded for their usual presentation. I hope they do something for the side-games as well, is there a way to check this?

I checked but none of the boxed games have hidden videos.

You can see here "Unavailable videos are hidden" there are 146 videos but only 144 visible and it was updated today.

Khorne Girl is fantastic. None of the boxes are the least bit interesting to me tho.

Snikrot seems fine, but I'm not into the Kommando side of Orks, so not relevant to me.

Farsight is a really nice update of the character. He's also large enough and has enough going on that I don't find the tactical rock bothersome.

The Khorne priestess is nice. No complaints, but I do wonder if there's another head option in the kit.

I'm about as bored with Leather Boy as Leather Boy is bored with everything going on around him. Plus standing on a tactical statue like that looks unnatural. The Vanguard box is nice though. I have no complaints about a one of everything box.

Overall a nice reveal.

Yes, but with a caveat. Since he's red, you just know there's blue Tom Cruise inside the suit. So only 99% feudal Japan, really.

Farsight has the Dark Angel Hexagrammaton on his arm so obviously is the Lion in there

What's the point of the beastsnaggas in the Ork box?

Okay, there's a Kommando boss, unit of Kommandos, good, unit of Freebootas who are space pirates and this is a boarding action setting, cool, then RANDOM BARBARIANS

Might get a little crowded having both Tom and Lionel in there, but why not. The sculptor is free to live out their fantasies just like the rest of us.

So what I'm reading is you'd rather have the new monopose boyz in there.

Well my first choice to keep on theme would be Meganobz, but if a Troops unit is required I guess Boyz would be the only alternative.

However, you have no point as Beast Snagas and Boyz are equally monopose.

Yes you're right, it makes perfect sense for a bunch of sneaky infiltrators to board with some gung-ho pirates and slow moving walking tanks.

Also the monopose boyz have a god awful split loadout, so yes, I do still have a point.

I think we both know the only point to your posts is to try and rile people up.

Both the new AoS Chaos leader models look great - though I kind of wish they'd been new demon units instead of new leaders; but at least the mortal leader side isn't as chock full of options for Slaanesh so this does give more room to have a more varied mortal followers focused list.

I think the only downside is that his head/face is very similar to the Demon Prince model; but otherwise its an awesome model with all the show and flare of Slaanesh in the pose.

If Nazdreg is showing back up in the AoO book for Farsight, what're the chances we might see him reappear in the game at some point?

Really nice reveals! Farsight is definitely the most impressive. I would love to see additional figures of the 8 to go with him.

Also, the new book specifically calls out Nazdreg. Will we finally get a model for him?
