new to everything. picked up the hobby to do something together with my son and motivate him to read/do math. he picked our factions and i got tau. farsight lore was super cool and i bought the models and paint before reading into how they actually play, apparently not very competitive lol.
the finecast model had severe bubble issue on the head and i ended up sanding it down completely. here's a close up of my shakey attempt to recreate the details.
the regular gray models turned out a lot better.
