the title says it all, the 5th edition of Shadow Run is up on humble bundle (£15.02+ for the lot in UK money, 17 books in total), so, Chummer, if you're interested in cyberpunk with elves and dwarves and trolls etc this may be the deal for you

although how it acually plays now i've no idea, i only read/played 1/2nd edition (oh the plastic allergies how annoying they were)

5th edition is fun if you play it "german style" which is to never look up rules in the book as shooting a gun has so many rules and modifiers spread across different sections of the game it could take you 30 min just to figure out what to do.

Play it as you remember it basically.

I have had a soft spot for Shadowrun for decades.
In my teens, a friend had Shadowrun for SNES and we spent a lot of time just hanging out trying to get through it
I felt at the time it was quite uniqe, both in gameplay and the setting. I always hoped someone would do something to give the setting some good and widespead attention.

In general, 5th edition is probably more played and better accepted than the current 6th edition. Since the latter has been around for a couple years at this point, I'd expect that 7e is probably already a gleam in a Catalyst developer/executive's eye. Still, an affordable legal 5th edition pdf dump is an attractive offer.
