The Undead rise in a game of Mordheim (quasi- Capture the flag mission) and emerged victorius, albeit only because the vampire lord (Keldrek) passed 4 rout tests in a row and managed to flee with the enemy's flag.

That was 6th at our FLGS. it completely killed 40K for over a year.

My group barely made it through 6th, but when 7th hit and all hopes of GW saving the mess 6th edition was went out the window, so did the last straw of enthusiasm.

Flesh eaters vs nurgle. 15 blight kings teleportnd to my rear so everything ran away. Terrorgheists munched through everything and i got solid lead on objectives. His blightkings had to chop through multiple layers of crypt ghouls which stumped his vp collecting especially once king on terrorgheist munched through chaos warriors(took a while with their reroll saves) giving me vp's from his home.

Turn 5 it was like 23-9 and if we had counted last ones gap would have just increased. He had 6 blightking left. I had unridden terrorgheist, archregent, ghoul king on foot, 3 crypt flayers and vargulf left.

Love the guy shouldering the treasure chest. Think I saw pics of your stuff from Coastal Con. I should have gone down and gotten a game in.

Yeah CoastalCon was good - if I stay in the area and it happens yearly I'll try to make it down. The guy shouldering the treasure chest is an Ally that the Heroes can unlock.

I was going to run a Battlegroup game but didnt feel a lot of interest in historicals. If you run a demo of your Dungeon crawler, then give me a shout. My game group is stuck in a gaming rut.

Strombones, let me know when you may get a group together and I can run something when my third version cards arrive (re-doing a heap of the stuff at the moment).

Did pull out my other game, Shoot N' Skedaddle today...much bloodshed was had.

I braved attending Cold Wars this year. I played two games on Friday but ended up skipping Saturday.

First game was a re-fight of the Muleshoe, using 28mm miniatures and the GM's own rules, "By Company Into Line." The Union attack ended up faltering and the game ended with a decisive Confederate victory.

The second game was a demo of Et Sans Resultat!, a grand tactical Napoleonic rulesets with 10mm miniatures. It was a general brew-up between two French divisions and an allied force of Prussians and Russians during the War of the Sixth Coalition. I found the game interesting. It gives a really good feel of the weight of maneuvering entire brigades of infantry, cavalry and artillery, but I felt like I was missing something the whole time with trying to figure out my overall force objective.

I got some Carnevale in on Friday. Main objective get to the top of the tower with secondary objectives every time you cause 8 damage in an activation (many victims were thrown from the rooftops), charge from above, and grapple off the roof. Guild won.

@Elbows- I almost always lose to my daughter since she was 7 or 8. I still do now that she is older.

I played a game of Rampant Stars with my family using Catalyst Game Labs Battletech miniatures.

A game of Necromunda that I ran with friends over text message Friday night. Surprisingly fun. Group of very greedy hive scum tracking down a bounty in the territory controlled by the Ash Falls Mining Combine. Everybody got a character with a limited amount of ammo that they had to track. Lots of gene-stealer cultists got blasted by autogun lead, super heated laser beams, and 12 good old fashioned 12 gauge buck shot.

Did Elbows mention a 7 year old as well? If not, were you aiming this at me?

Some solo labyrinth of the necrons with my almost finished painting comp entry.
First attempt at level 3 was a quick loss and 2nd attempt was a pretty quick win.

Woops, sorry Tony! I guess it was aimed at you. Either way, I hope it works out for you and your family with gaming!

I got to play Men of Bronze. It was a strange game played over the course of a couple weeks, in slow-motion....

Read up on it....

Interesting use of CoD walkways and SecMech clips for stairs.

Other than that pipe, what's it resting on?

The plasma pipe actually runs clean underneath it. Its being held up by whatever these things are. When the game first dropped I just slapped some stuff together with whatever i had, and this was the result

The sector mechanicus walkways are too tall for my tastes, so I kept on with kitbashing shorter things.

As meeting with friends is a bit restricted now, I finally had time to try a properly blinded and umpired kriegspiel with my pals. I refereed the situation with Epic Armageddon as a base as Black Templar's of marshal Taraxacum dropped by to remind the secessionist forces of Seren II that they are by decree still very much a part of the Imperium of Man.

More Epic, though solitaire this time. Knights and Death Guard collided, first in a dastardly victory snatch for the XIV and then a bitter draw on overtime.

Here the terminators, fresh from a Thunderhawk drop, charge and straight up crit both Porphyrions to death with powerfists without any backtalk (well, before getting piled on by lots of Questorii, anyway).
