Can you take the On The Move status action after Charging, but before fighting?
And if so, do you get 1 or 2 on the move tokens?

Technically there's nothing stopping you from declaring the On The Move action after a Charge, but it won't give you any benefit. The effects of On The Move are tied to the number of On The Move tokens you have, and you only get those if your previous action was a Move or Dash.

On The Move essentially represents the unit putting all of their effort into moving faster and evading enemy fire. If they've charged an enemy unit, they're concentrating on the unit they've just charged, instead.

I'm assuming we're talking about the v2 beta rules here, because the v1 rules didn't have on the move tokens...

...Not sure if this is in the beta version of the v2 rules or not, but the final version definitely specifies that when your unit is in contact with an enemy unit you're only allowed to perform actions that specifically state they can be used while in contact with the enemy.

The list of such actions currently are:

• CQ Fighting action.
• Any movement action, provided it takes your unit out of contact with the enemy.
• The consolidation action (which can be used to either move your unit back into contact with the unit it just performed a CQ Fighting action against or to move your unit away from that enemy unit if you wish).
