Hi everyone!

I've very happy to say that my Cloth Goblins Kickstarter has just launched. I had a lot of fun sculpting these wee guys so I hope you'll take a look! They're available as lead-free metal castings (printed, moulded and cast by my fair hand) and also as STLs.

Cloth goblin butts:

It looks like we're on the way to the funding target and I'm really looking forward to sending cloth goblins off around the world.

Your stuff is very imaginative and very unique in its styling and artistic expression, it reminds me a bit of movies like 9 or Coraline, but has an almost expressionistic quality about it in they way you convey movement and action with sweeping forms. Very neat!

These are especially great imho:

I agree. High level of expression. Nicely done.

Those are adorable and unique.

Digital sculpting has allowed unbelievable levels of detail but often feels characterless. These have character to spare.

I'll have to give them a look.

Thanks for the kind comments, folks. They're really appreciated as posing a figure and trying to get some life and character into them is what I enjoy the most. It's why I particularly like doing these super simple designs as there's nothing to fall back on but how I pose them and how the form and lines work as a whole.

Cheers folks!

I've spent the past couple of days taking photos of the cloth goblins I've painted. I'd originally intended just to do pretty standard ones, but then got carried away playing with the goblins and some of the Left at the Bottom of the Garden toys. I hope you like them!

Yup, lead- and nickel-free Pewter 92. I find it a really nice metal to work with when prepping figures for painting.

Have previously bought some of Andrew’s models.

Can confirm they’re every bit as adorable in person as in the piccies.

I shall be back for more.

Very cool stuff! Kind of difficult to mix with less stylized miniatures, but I can see painting up a collection of these, or even just antiquing them, as you have done. Good job!

Thanks folks!

The campaign has been going great and we're almost at the finish line - it ends on Sunday night!

I'm still having fun taking lots of photos of the toys. Here are a couple more of my favourites:

High stakes stuff in the Habernagerie, I think you'll agree!

Please do take a look. Thanks!

Love it, and for some reason these remind me of something I've seen before.

Thanks!

The Cloth Goblins are available on Etsy 'Made to Order' for EU and Norway customers - but only until Sunday 11th of June! The expected delivery date is timed to match the Kickstarter fulfilment date of August 2023, though I'd hope to have things going out before that.

After fulfilment of both the Kickstarter rewards and Etsy Made to Order is complete, the Cloth Goblins will return to both the Statuesque shop and Etsy.
