Been away from the hobby for over a decade. Decided to start collecting again as I can finally get plastic Sisters.

This is a test for the new army... Contrast paints are new to me but seem great from a speed painting perspective.

Love the colour scheme you've chosen - that midnight blue is something I normally think of as a Dark Eldar colour, but putting it on Sisters armour is a great look.

I like the teal highlights. It makes the black much more lustrous and more interesting to look at.

Here's the first superior... Tried to limit
myself to just two hours from basecoat to completion. I've had issues in the past with just taking too long on each mini and, consequently, losing patience with the whole project.

I can do much better with the line work, and the glazing on the power sword could be a bit smoother, but those are things that will just improve naturally as I get back into the swing of things. I'm pretty pleased with how this has turned out.

As for the name of the order, that's something I will decide upon in time... Probably after painting up the Canoness 🙂

Since you're going with what looks like purplish color to me, then there might be some sort of royalty to this order.
