Hi guys.

I´ve been pondering over my next army, and came across a rather weird idea. Before I tell you, I want to ask... Is there such a thing as the rule of threes in AOS? In 40k, there is this rule about not having more than three of the same unit in n army, but I can´t seem to find it anywhere on the forums regarding AOS.
Help me out?

So I can have as many of any legal unit I want in my army?

AoS doesn't have the rule at all. In fact there's a few army builds that rely on single unit type spam. Eg Flesheater Courts can build a whole army of terrorgasts and zombie dragons if they so wish.

The game also shifted heavily with the reinforcement system. Right now you can, at 2K points, only fit 2 full stack units in your army, everything else has to be minimum numbers only.

That heavily leans into supporting more than the same unit featuring.

I think AoS has avoided it thus far because some elements of balance are better than 40K and because there a good number of armies who simply don't have enough model variety so they need to be able to take more than 3 of the same unit.

There's some limits on battlefield rules like max 4 behemoths in 2k though there's some ways around it.

Rulebook plus battle tome explains it clearly.
