Has anyone ever tried making conversions like the Movie Edge of Tomorrow?

I realized that if there was a way to take the ork out of a mega armor kit and put a guardsman in it, it would be feasible.

Side note: Would also be a nice addition to the Guard army list.

Funny I just saw it and wondered if anyone had made those exo suits. Hopefully, unlike Tom Cruise, they'd wear helmets. Maybe some chest armor too.

Necromunda armsmasters seemed a good starting point to me.

They have external braces on the legs and the hammer could be replaced by a heavy bolter. Maybe some shoulder guns too.

To be fair, Tom WAS wearing a helmet in the beginning, but he never got the chin strap fastened correctly, so it fell off.

The best part of the film is still the eleventy times that he bites the big one, though. Each one still brings a smile to my face.

Apologies for being stereotypically male, but I though the best bit was the perspiring Ms Blunt…

Maestrum's Edge has some suitable figures too.
