Subject: Legions Imperialis (LI) - Are hab-blocks a must for a good game?
As the title says. My new 30K board has a Mars theme with very early Terraforming going on allowing the growth of grass tufts (to make the bases more lively). I want to do the LI terrain naturally in the same style so that LI & 30K games will mesh seamlessly together. However hab-blocks the size of skyscrapers would look out of place in such an environment. What other kind of buildings would provide infantry with improved survival chances on the board?

Hmm, I can definitely build the storage warehouses with bean cans. Flat bunkers out of cardboard would also be easy. I am on a fence to choose wavy cardboard for scrap houses as this has a more postapocalyptic feel better suited to Necromunda.

Ooh, ooh... LOL doll packaging. If you can find the right stuff, they are transparent and faintly geodesic and should be properly massive at epic scale.
Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
