I'm considering purchasing a box of Ork Warbikers for my 2k list. While I know they're not the biggest and most impactful models in the Ork army, I do think if I add them to the squad of my Deffkilla Wartrike Boss and use them as cavalry, light harassers, or even objective fetchers they maybe perhaps useful? I am not counting on their firepower and melee other than to be another distraction for my foes as I already am running a Deff Dread. My plan is to have them deploy on the flanks and have them try to speedily claim objectives that are away from center. Plus I already got the Defkilla so why not?

Plus, I just like their models, having an Orky biker squad sounds fun and adds to my fast attack capabilities. But, are they worth it even if just for harassment and objective fetching?

They're not terrible as MSU objective grabbers and they can do a fair bit of the actions from objective cards you draw while advancing because they have assault on their weaponry. They mainly compete against 5 man squads of stormboyz for that reason. So overall I would say they're worth it if you don't have stormboyz on hand to use for that purpose. Just keep in mind that the Deffkilla Wartrike isn't great atm as far as being competitive goes, so tacking him onto their unit is counterproductive since it makes them a bigger target while not helping in their overall role. It also doesn't help that his "buff" of giving them +1 to hit in CC is counterproductive to what they want to do, which is not getting stuck in unlike the rest of the ladz.

If you really want to use a Wartrike, I would either run in one of two ways;

1. Use it as a "buggy" and leave it unattached. It's pretty quick and reasonably tough, and it can bully small units off of objectives and finish off harder units with its okay melee profile.

2. Follow Me Ladz and with Nob Bikers. 14" move with auto 6" advance is blindingly fast, and the Wartrikes +1 to hit is pretty dope on Power Klaw models. Threaten objectives, exposed characters, generally be wherever you want to be at a moment's notice. Probably the better of the two, but Warboss+Nobz+Trukk is definitely better than this. A Warboss on Warbike would also be better for this role as you save 5v points and some board space.
