OK, I'm going for fluffy, with a touch of Demon-bomb thrown in.

let me know what you think:

Where do we start? I'm assuming you're looking for thoughts on performance, right?

1) 10 bloodletters do not a favored unit make. You could drop 2 and take almost 3 more flesh hounds, making them favored.

2) 48 Berserkers is a good number, However, 3 squads of 16 is not. I would highly recommend you drop down to perhaps 4 squads of 8. That gives you another free A/C and more targets for an opponent.

3) Are you REALLY going to use nothing but the Bloodthirster to deal with vehicles? Any opponent with any brains will take a look at your three squads, see 2 A/Cs with power fist and power weapon, and the third A/C nekkid, and wonder, "Hmmm I wonder where the A/C is..."

4) One thing I have seen done a few times, and fairly successfully. Take half your berserker squads and give the A/C a chain axe and power fist. The other half get a chain axe and bolt pistol. With the entire squad degrading opponent saves, it isn't as important to have the power weapons as it is in a regular CSM or SM squad. That would save some points and make it less obvious which squad had the demonvessel (minus the chains of course).

So, to sum up. 1) Not enough units. 2) Very limited anti-vehicle. 3) Obvious demon host. 4) REALLY expensive, and redundant, aspiring champions.

Suggestions for improvement: 5 smaller squads of Berserkers, drop the 'letters take 2-3 Predators with LC sponsons, bulk up the Flesh Hounds to 8, Give the Lord wings, take away the Jugger, and think about Stature for the MC 2die penetrating if you decide not to include Preds. That gives you 5 squads, demons, and three vehicles, along with 2 ICs that fly and deal a large number of attacks. 9 scoring units and 2 close combat monsters. You had 5 scoring units and 1 close combat monster. (one slow moving nasty)

Hope that helps spark some thought.

I've played against lists like this before and I've found them to have a couple of exploitable soft spots.

1. Foot slogging. Yes, you get extra movement... sometimes. Any seasoned apponent knows exactly how brutal you are in HTH and will stay away from you as long as possible, concentrating fire on certain units.  This will be no fun to get shot up for several turns, and honestly, I hate having to do it when faced with this type of force.

2. No long range fire support.  Again this feeds back issue one.  You'll be taking it on the chin long before you start dishing it out.

3. Very little anti-vehicle. 2 PF and 1 bloodthirster? That's going to be rough.

My Blood Angels fought an army like this at the last KublaCon Golden Gargant tourney.  The only thing left was the unstable Bloodthrister that burst from the dead aspiring champion.  I sat back and shot him to pieces. Having some long ranged support will help keep tanks, etc's heads down while you advance. If not, you're at the mercy of the terrain of the table and your dice.

If you are going to have a deamonvessel, you might as well go for the Axe of Khorne. I tend to leave my thirster in for a while thanks to the S8 Axe. Nothing bothers people more than seeing that thing go off.

I'd drop 1 squad of 16 to 8, consolidate all your chainaxes so you don't have mixed units, and use the points from that and dropping the Lt. to get either 1 or 2 cheap twin las preds or a defiler. drop 2 bloodletters.

If you must keep the lt. Put him on a bike, give him meltabombs and an icon. He can turbo-boost out of sight and cause them worries or he can bike into terrain so they can't see him.

Why not give everyone a Chain Axe? And frag grenades are helpful. Favored demons and a predator or two may help you out. I'm rather fond of using 2 defilers to criss cross all the fire lanes with direct fire battlecannons, and cuz defilers are cool.

I'd take a demon prince with a glaive, stature, essence and feel no pain. That guys a real bear to take out, and can draw alot of fire off everyone else.
