Lets hope for Fallout rather than Rings of Power

"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001

They gave Clem Fandango a sub? Oh, I hope Matt Berry has a bit part as a somewhat deaf radio or lighthouse operator.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleyways and mugs them for loose grammar.

I finished this last night and I'll classify this as 'forgettable fun'. My wife called it "tosh"!

Simple weekly plot with a thin metaplot over the episodes. The steampunk elements were slight, mainly the sub itself, but well done (it's hard to compete with Disney's iconic design of the titular vehicle). The link to Verne's original text is tenuous as best (but this has it's upside - no 10 page essay on sealife, nor a chapter on Nemo and crew hunting rare creatures so they can eat it).

I started watching this...then completely forgot about it in the space of about 3 days. Not a great sign. It was aggressively average for the first few episodes. I may finish it, but probably won't.

To be brutally honest, you won't miss it. There's a little bit of mystery with some of the characters, but as I said, fun, but forgettable.
