I'm finally about to dip my toes into Horus Heresy, and there's something I'm not clear on.

Does Achean Force work with 'Force'?

For example: Can the Thousand Sons' aether-fire blasters (which are basically plasma gun replacements) be boosted from S6 to S14? A check to double them as per Force weapons, and then +2 from Achean Force? This seems a tad overkill, since a whole squad shooting S14 guns would just evaporate pretty much any vehicle in one go...

Achean Force is a different rule, and there’s no wargear (to my knowledge) with both.
