i was thinking about picking up some of the curved shoulder pad symbols to put on some marines and was wondering what your experience was with them.
maybe even a dreadnaught upgrade... they're pretty cool.
my only concern on the shoulder pads is whether or not they stick out too far otherwise maybe a decal would be better?
i was also curious about the different materials. ive never used anything printed so am wondering if i want to mess with it.

I've used them on my Ultramarines and on my Space Wolves. Ultramarines are the separate pad-shaped curved symbols that glue directly onto bare pads and also the separate set of flat vehicle-sized U symbols, both of them were off his old Shapeways store using frosted ultra detail since he olnly sold through Spaheways back then, the stuff he prints and sells direct is likely just as good.

They work fine, but they're very thick, much thicker than molded plastic pads.

i cans see that the UM are the separate pieces but are the wolves the pads with emblem already molded on?

i wonder if they can be sanded down a little to make them more flush on the pad?

I had used some of his legion specific combat shields on my HH irom warriors. Was very pleased with them.
