Pretty good representation of these guys, the mix of bits gives them that feel of a transitional force.
Question about the paint scheme. When I looked at the first model, the base coat of the armor registered to me as blue. The last model looked a little more like that pale desaturated green.
Wondering it this was just the camera being digital or if you shifted the paint scheme at some point? Would make sense they have trouble with the upkeep of their colors, just curious.

Thanks very much techsoldatan!
In answer to your question, the paint scheme used was the same throughout. I started with a black/incubi darkness through to Sons of Horus and finally Sybarite green. I think it is possibly because the photos were taken with a mix of natural and artificial light, and taken on a Samsung which always adds a lot of processing to photos - I did run through photoshop after (removing the base and correcting colour), but perhaps not entirely successfully.

Could also be my monitor. I have a Samsung and an app that always shoots raw to avoid color shifting.
Either way - they look great. My Sons of Horus were done about 8 years ago and there's noticeable differences in the saturation between many of the troops and vehicles. Preparing to paint some new models, looking at Army Painter's feldgrau as a base.
It can be a hard scheme to pull off, but you did it!

That's a nice mix of bitz and styles you got going on over here. Keep it up!

Very gritty. As others have said. The assortment of bitz really sell the idea of a rag tag band.
Indeed using natural light will throw the colours all over the place.
