I'll still watch it because I enjoy desert epics( The Four Feathers, Lawrence of Arabia and Stargate ) and already sat through the first two films, but so far it's as disappointing an adaptation of Frank's novel as the 1984 film.
Some pretty awesome visuals in this trailer. Looking forward to this.

Well, Jason is back as a "new" character and will be joined by Robert Patterson as Scytale - pretty much the two stand out characters in Dune Messiah. Hopefully they'll carry it across the finishing line...
I was 100% convinced that was Paul Bettany the first few times I watched the trailer.

I prefer the older. I enjoyed the new movies (the second, the first is… boring). But I will re-read the books for the 3d so I can suffer watching how they not stick 100% to the books with a fresh memory.
