Yeah its all about patience, and bloody cleaning the airbrush constantly. I reccomend getting some proper airbrush cleaner for those times when even strippig it apart doesnt seem to work.

I find a 1:1 of paint:acrylic thinner works great for me.

Windex to clean...definately cheaper, but yeah..sometimes it needs a good AB cleaner, but normally, I just use Windex.

Oh yeah, i save the pricey ab cleaner for when it seems unpossible to make it work again.

Although the ab cleaner does do a good job of lubing up all the mechanisms, whole some other cleaners just remove the grease as well, and can cause stiffening.

How about grenades Brian? They were pretty much just useless wastes of points in 5th Ed, what do you think of them now? Worth taking?

Depends on a lot. Since only a single squad member can throw a grenade, when shooting, it should be treated as an additional, free, squad special weapon. Assault-based squads should always remember to throw a grenade. I am seriously considering taking my 'grenade thrower arm' collection, and modifying all my IG squads as a reminder.

I think it is cool, BUT.

The crux of 6th edition:

If you are a casual player, you find all of this stuff great, and you don't mind the extra 25% it'll take, time-wise, to play a game.

If you are a tournament player, WTF MY GUYS DON'T GET THOS EGRENADES IT'LL SLOW THE GAME DOWN THIS IS *#W)$#*)$*#@, @#!*)#@ YOU GW I [ QUIT | WILL RANT | WILL SELL OFF ALL MY MODELS ] (circle one).

I do feel very sorry for Tournament Players. Once again, they did not get the streamlined rule system they've been angsting for, since the beginning of the major tournament scene (back in 3rd edition, no less). But they seem to think that they're the (a) target audience or, worse, (b) IN THE MAJORITY.

Sorry, folks. Not even close.

I dunno, you can post an army list in some parts of Dakka, hoping to get someone helpful and knowledgeable to help you out, and instead get berated, ridiculed, and called names for not knowing something....Some people are just asssholes like that.

I read battle reports, and have a collection of names whose reports are AWESOME. (PE: I hate video reports, because their claims of 'high quality' are laughable..but that's another rant).

I read P&M plogs.

I poke my nose into the DCM section.

I poke my nose into the non-GW games section.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that's about it.

I pretty much stick to the P&M section myself...Really only talented people hang here, OT is full of hatefulness, and people who seem to have no talent at all. I like being around talented folks and seeing their creations.

I've been to the OT thread once, and thats the only time I've ever been there.. its like take the worst quality of some of our common off-topicers (me of course), and mulitply it by the fact that they dont have to stop!

Several years ago, and in an alternate, cooler dimension when GW was still trying to be awesome, by buying stuff from GW, you got 'Skullz'. Basically, points. You could spend these points on things. Most were fairly boring some, like the coins, were interesting. A few (like the mega-awesome limited edtion Adepticus Mechanicus set) were...mega-awesome.
