Did Buttery ever get the Brits off to you.

I'm pretty sure Brit-box is still in Buttery's possession awaiting any last minute contributions. So get 'em painted and in the post while you still can!

Ack, I was going to paint a couple more, but maybe I should just get my 1 finished Ork Boy in the mail this weekend.

Buttery still has them in his possession, I'll wait for you dudes.

Cleatus, up to you matey, you've got like 3-6 months before I'm going to get the international groups shipped to me

Fixed... since it's already been a month since that last post.

The NA Orks (or "Ork," if you discount my own addition) are still sitting on my display shelf, waiting either for more compatriots or the final bell. Drop me a line if I should still be looking out for new additions! Otherwise, I'll just let them sit until I'm told to call it and send them over to kb.

Who do I PM exactly to send you a ork?

Buttery Commissar is the regional contact/distributor for the UK and most of Europe, just as I am for North America. Direct your regionally specific queries there, if interested.

For more general questions/comments, kb_lock is the mastermind and eventual caretaker of the mob, I occasionally poke my head in to check the thread and my PMs, and there have been others chiming in here and there. I'm sure you'll find someone out of all of us.

Edited my second-to-last reply. Upon checking back in on the thread, I noticed that I had completely forgotten about the second Ork that arrived. Both Nevelon and General_K have returned a painted model, so there's a trio of boys... and a nob still only half ready for battle. Hey, I'll finish when everyone else does!

Alrighty then,

I am going to wrap this up this year, because I think we're pretty much done.

I will send a PM out as a reminder to those who are still working on theirs. If you finish, great, if not, well then Mork disapproves.

If I can get them all back before christmas, I will base them and do some photo shoots of the whole waaaaaagh.

Thank you all for contributing, special thanks to people that donated large and small, and super thank you oadie and buttery for helping orchestrate this insanity.

Man, I'm really hoping for a last big push from folks to get their ork into the mob. Come on people, lets get another decent showing of painted orks in before its over.

Looking forward to the big photoshoot at Christmas. Lets hope its a massive one!

I bet you thought I was dead. Nope, but I have had two kids since starting this thread, so that is PRETTY CLOSE TO THE SAME THING.

Anyway, I realise that this has dragged out, so I am putting a hard stop on it - 1st April, or thereabouts, I am going to get oadie and Buttery Commissar to ship the orks they have to me, and then base them and take all the final shots for this project - I may end up donating them, or putting them on display, or whatever - I have no idea. I have still never played a game of 40k, and I can't see that changing in the future, so I don't need them.

SO, I have sent a message out to everyone on the list and asked that they finish up by then if they intend to.

Haha! Yes the second one's a real head melter. But congrats on your parenthood. Got two boys myself and I enjoy gaming with them as and however possible. Proper home-brew kiddi-hammer. They break daddy's toys regularly but hey, how else would I ever get them into real hobby gaming?

Looking forward to seeing the Dakka clan come together in 2018.

Desubot's Ork has arrived, safe and sound. I'll tack him (temporarily) to a base so he can join his brethren. I now have as many Boys returned/donated as kb has children,

Holders of unpainted orks beware! April approaches.
Imagine the eternal shame of that unpainted ork languishing on your desk while the Dakka Clan marches of to da Waaagh! without him!

this sad ork will forever be yours.

This is my official last call for Orks, whether kb_lock puts a hard stop to this or not. I'll be moving to the Charleston, SC area in a month and change, so any models sent late are liable to get swallowed by the warp. I'll need to ship him whatever I have before all of my minis get packed away for God knows how long...

No, but I've not given up hope.

I'm just now getting back on top of the universe so I'll pick it apart and see where we ended up over the next couple of days
