Thanks everyone...errr where did July go???
I had to replace my phone after the idiot owner dropped it in a full bath so lost all of July's pictures. So here is the tale of the tape before I retake some pictures:
July: 36 Miniatures painted taking me to 211 miniatures painted in 210 days this year.
You saw Horus but I also did:
10 SoH Veterans
5 SoH Volkite marines
5 SoH Rotor Cannon marines
5 Justaerin Terminators
5 Catherphractii with Lightning Claws
1 Melee Contemptor
1 Spartan
1 Deimos Rhino
1 Praetor
1 Celestial Lion Kratos
So I have pictures of the Melee Contemptor:
So onto my August Progress.
First up I had to buy the new plastic Leviathan. Really fun model to build and paint.
And a not quite legal Dreadnought Talon:
Which meant i had to do one for my Lions:
After all of the Marines I needed a palette cleanser so went for a Tech priest Engineseer from Imperium Magazine on an AOS hero base made a bit more futuristic...and i had not painted purple in a while:
Finally I painted up my first Necromunda gang in probably 25 years...ouch...Purple is Luxion purple contrast over leadbelcher with runefang steel highlights:
Thanks for looking

Wow! Sweet updates! Looks like I missed your earlier one, hopefully you can find time to retake the July progress as Terminators are always cool. The purple palette cleansers are super cool, the shininess of the squats is superb. I’m also jealous of all of the Dreadnought action too.

Thank you everyone, and extra great to see some old faces in here in the form of Paradigm and AzazelX.
So we are mid way through October, so had better get caught up with September's progress...poor picture ahoy!
That is 36 miniatures completed for 271 for the year up to the end of September.
So to start is my SoH vehicle progress.
First up is a dual Grav Flux Bombard Leviathan:
That completes the Talon of 3 now:
I also did a dual Chainfist Contemptor:
And here he is with all my other Dreads (NB I have already done another Contemptor for October)
I also did a Rhino and flamer support squad as well as a plasma support squad and half a 10 man tactical squad (the latter 2 not pictured here):
Finally for my SoH I painted up a Sicaran:
I also added to my small Emperor's Children force with a few minis, first up are a couple of Praetors
And a Forge World EC Contemptor:
I also did a 5 man Autocannon squad (not pictured) and this 5 man Tartaros Squad:
That leaves just a couple of minis to show off, first up is a humble Sigmarine that was basically a possible test scheme for some Leagues of Votann:
Finally is one of this years Warhammer + miniatures in the form of Azrakh The Annihilator, had great fun painting this one up:
As ever, thanks for looking.

You must have a good proportion of the SoH legion by now . I must admit I’m really enjoying your Emperors Children though, that purple is spot on. Azrakh is a sweet mini, he nearly tempted me to sign up to WH+

Not really sure where the last few months of updates have gone...so here we go with an image dump.
October:
31 miniatures painted in the month:
November:
A quiet month, only 10 miniatures completed:
December:
31 Miniatures, mainly Guard:
In total that was 343 miniatures painted for the year, so a few individual highlights of the last three months of the year:
Celestial Lion Contemptor:
Garro:
Not a templar:
Mega Gargant:
Heresy era Predators:
Mando and Grogu:
Thanks for looking.

Good Lord, that’s a boat load of minis! As ever, consistently good results and quantity. The Lions will always be my favourites (especially not a Templar) but that gargant is really cool! Any chance of a few army photos? . Hope this year is as productive as the last few!
