Hey Folks sorry for a lack of proper updates....I been slacking so today I thought i would drop a huge picture download an ya'll and show you what i've accomplished over the course of this month. hard being in two places and all and only to carry so much with me and not having a proper camera or computer to upload pictures too so i can do it only so often. any way here is what has been accomplished!


In other news took a break from writing the campaign this weekend to recharge my batteries as a person. So i watched the new teenage mutant ninja turtles...it was ok...made me smile to say the least.

I did put together some models this weekend but you will have to wait till next time cause I ran out of time and have to get on the road very soon to go back out of town *sighs* the good news is I will be done with it in April.

Hey all long time no post! been the busy bee as normal, so with this month almost over i been extra busy with all kinds of projects and I'll show you soon. still undecided in the campaign. So but i have been busy. so it has been thirty days since my last post man thats a long time with out posting i really should be more regular i just forget to post my progress honestly. I schedualed a game with val next saturday. his 1k sons versus my space wolves. so we are going to see whos tops who in that should be a fun match. well I thought i was going to have my box of shame empty so i could start a new but nope i just added to it. *sighs*

Hope your weekend was good mine was so so. any way I promised you pictures like a week ago.and i took them and then some. I got a bunch of stuff done. Since i was at the game store i thought i'd use thier lighting to take some lovely pictures. so i wasnt around during the hey day of mordheim but it is a very fun system reading over the rules and the various warbands. but this seems a lot easier for me to keep a hold of to do than my 40k stuff which is wierd...i think its a size issue in the games honestly. at any rate enough of my rambles have some pictures.

So I have an idea brewing in my noggin. Will divulge more when i get it more sorted out.

Neat idea using the sprue to make crystal outcroppings, never thought of that, might have to nick that idea in the near future.

Hey folks just a quick morning up date, got a sweet deal on some guardsmen on the evil bay as you may remember I had vostroyans. well they got lost to the warp in a car wreck. well this time i have Mordian Iron Guard. been busy painting. There were a lot of older models in that collection and a lot of rare models as well some that wont be repainted cause the guy that painted them did a fantastic job on them. But I digress the blog is going to go back to churning out guards men for a bit. and from what i can tell with up grades of what i could remember yesterday fiddling with battle scrible i have over 3k points so its going to be a lot of guards men!

I havent really thought up a story for them yet but im working on that.

In other news Im entering a 1700 point tournament with my fledgling guard to test thier mettle. the list consists of the following. and the tournament is based on kill points

So being absent from dakka for so long and just recently being reinspired to start lurking and with the help of Valhalla130 I'm trudging away on guard still. took a massive break from the hobby. as you know stuff happens. but Val and I are doing a silliy running narrative between my Mordians and his Valhallans. where the mordians think that the Valhallans dont pass mster and butter the toast on the wrong side.

At any rate my list for our 600 point game.

Hey ho! So Vahalla130 requested pictures of what I've been up too. and i don't mind sharing i was doing some finishing touches like basing as you know I really dont like doing but i did on two armies! i know surprise surprise!

so this is a compilation of things completed from the middle of last month till a few days ago. Much more to work on not going to rattle it off cause it just depresses me So as you know I did have an eldar army originally and sold them so I picked them back up. I know crazy. But Doing it different this time.

Guard well i got them over a year ago and still slogging through them took a massive break and then my buddies were like " Hey lets do a campaign and we need guard" and since im the only guard guy that i know besides valhalla and he was on hiatus. I began reraising the regiment. and actually basing them and building them up.

Nurgle daemons who doesn't love these guys. they suck a tad ptting together but should be challening enough to paint and very different from guard and eldar.

I'm also working on building a small inquistion force for the grins because that would be fun to ally with my guardsmen.

BUT NEW RULE! NO NEW STUFF TILL I FINISH WHAT I GOT FOR MY GUARD TILL I COMPLETE WHAT I HAVE FOR MY GUARD! same goes for my other armies.

All right thats everything for now taking a break for a few days then I'll work on my story some for my one man narrative and then i have to make sre my recon for for the war of taost is ready and get the regiment ready for the great crusade against dark eldar ready too. the 108th is going to be busy the coming year in many warzones. along with the other factions.

Phew sorry for the very long absence...I been busy with life... well I have not been slacking on the hobby front my loyal friends...

I don't know but I purchased a mordian army about a year an a half ago and I have been steadily painting it...basing not so much that's still a work in progress just couldn't decide how I wanted to base them. now I got an idea how that is going to be accomplished now so will begin that great slog. but in the mean time I have pictures of guardsman and elder to show for my effort so the next few days will be loaded with pictures and stuff.

in other news I played my first two games of eigth edition I can say its pretty fun rules seem pretty ok tanks are a nightmare to deal with as my opponents have learned. I played with my guard. my next game I'm using my elder should be pretty fun ill try to take pictures of the game.

Heya folks! long time no speaky.

As you known from my last update I was slated to move to Illinois. and I did as such then I proceeded again to move again still in Illinois in January but closer to st. louis.


In my personal life has been kinda well silly to say the least lifes been pretty good... so apparently it gets really freaking cold in the mid west in the winter lol.

As of about a week ago i started build yet another imperial guard army. cause well im a glutton for punishment

This time the regiment is catachans. yea i know the sculpts are goofy but they seem pretty fun, i also did a dumb and ordered some necrons cause everyubodies hates the tomb kings in space. i also have a bucket load of eldar stuff to paint plus a small force of night lords.


In other news i have a significant other...this significant other has expressed interest in 40k...she
chose dark eldar...May my poor guardsmen souls be protected by the emperor.

SO plans for the blog tentavily stand is to show case the stuff we work on. i been lurking and slightly building...

ive also decided i hate building wriathblades.


Also like i stated many moons ago im going to try to up my painting game and actually base my guys.

Hey prime good to see ya buddy.

So not really a hobby update as a gaming update got a tip as I been doing some recon around the area where I live and I live near sever several flgs there are several in St. Louis and there are a few on the Illinois side of the river. The game store I absolutely love cuase of the staff was down in O'Fallon IL nice clean friendly folks plus seemed have to have a great atmosphere. and they do 40k on Thursdays and AOS on sundays if I wanna try my hand at that.
in regards to the community in O'Fallon they seem to be pretty relaxed super crunchy play...but only time will tell...


So yea not much of a report just some musings...so ya'll be good. I'll check you guys out later.
